Although i'm a local booked Valentines night to avoid late night taxi queues (i needn't have bothered Newcastle was very quiet). The hotel is close enough to the city centre but in a slightly quieter area. The staff were very friendly and our hotel room 419 was great, no bath but nice shower, clean and tidy. We tried the bar, still serving around midnight, again friendly staff. The breakfast was fine and nowhere near as busy as i expected. Would use the hotel again

Didnt get the name of the guy but he was super friendly and he was working the breakfast (which was really nice) and was talking to me about plans for the day etc. The room was great, beds and pillows super comfortable, very clean too! Heating and shower fairly simple to use. Second stay in this hotel and ill definitely be coming back next time i need a hotel in Newcastle!!!!

I had a very comfortable overnight day. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The vent in the bathroom and the heating did not work well at all. Overall, an excellent option and convenient to the train station and shopping. Very good breakfast buffet, but you have to be there on time. Recommended.

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, can’t do enough for you in fact. The hotel is convenient for buses the train station and walking to the city centre. Rooms are on the smallish side but good value and the bedding and towels almost sparkle they are so white. The complimentary breakfast is not the best breakfast you’re ever going to have but is fresh and plentiful. Overall a great place to stay, made amazing by its staff.
