It was in the French quarter, so there is going to be noise,trash and drunk people wandering around. Lots of construction and traffic. But it was close to Boubon St and all the activities.

It have been better if I was treated better my room was left with no towels or rags call several times never received anything I had to remind them too clean my room on the housekeeping day microwave on the 1st floor wish my experience was better the floor I was on feel like a walk in freezer I enjoyed the outside of the hotel a lot

Inside our first room was very dirty, floors not vacuumed and bath floor not cleaned. Hallways had a lot of garbage on them and agained needed lots of attention. They did move us to another room but staff at front desk were unfriendly at best. Asked for a later check out and we were willing to pay for that but we were told to book another night with Expedia. Tons of choices in The French Quarter but I would not recommend this hotel.

Liked-workers like Sloan, the bag claim members, valet and housekeeping supervisors were attentive and helpful. Hated- water in bathroom sink ran continuously (a stream not a drip) and was reported immediately upon arrival. Problem was reported multiple times and never addressed over 5 days. House keeping on Sunday was supposedly done but the only thing accomplished was taking the bathroom garbage and putting it in the sink and putting a new bag in the can. Trash just left in sink. Rude supervisors at check in desk and ceilings in hall in dire need of repair. Expected more from a crowne plaza hotel

The room was dirty, lived in dirty, shower was not cleaned, the floors were not vacuumed, dust on EVERYTHING, mirrors and windows were marked with hands and whatever else. The only “clean-ish” thing about the hotel was the lobby, beyond that everything is run down and filthy.

We were initially checked into a room on the 3rd floor which smelled of mold and the carpet was extremely dirty. There was also a section on the carpet underneath the A/C that was damp and soiled. Overall the property is old. After complaining about our room we were moved to the 4th floor with a view of an abandoned semi torn down building, that looked like a scene from a horror film!!! Please do some renovations. The hotel has a-lot of character and potential, with some TLC it could be magical!!! BTW, the front desk needs to smile a little more.

I like the location of the hotel. Most of the staff are friendly; housekeeping can do better. Room 502 is nice and quiet however the loud, continuous drips from the sink and tub faucets are loud that I have to close the bathroom door to minimize the noise. You really need to fix that because that’s a lot of water dripping out. Free shuttle to the airport would be a plus.

Our shower water did not heat. Missing shower curtain hooks, in turn, water all over the bathroom floor. No refrigerator as mentioned in the booking. Being in New Orleans, the cuisine is served in a large amount. Not being able to take back leftovers and enjoy them as we’d like was quite frustrating. We were in the center of the hotel and heard nothing but loud music all day and through the night. I have stayed at the 4points on Bourbon 7x in the last year and never had that same level of disruption. There seemed to never be enough towels/wash cloths to go around. Doormen attracted locals and drifters to the front of the hotel as a hangout spot. Congested, loud, smelling of marijuana and smoke.

Nice location. Needs upgrading badly. Care of hotel halls, lobby, basic cleaning. Sweeping and patching up hallway walls. Red stains everywhere, carpet, walls, and bedding.
