The Black Swan's units were great. With bedroom separate from full kitchen/dining area and livingroom area, the accommodations were very roomy. There was a little bodega across the street for essentials and grocery shopping nearby. We came to Nashville for the symphony, and were pleasantly surprised that the concert hall was only a couple blocks away. Everything was walkable, from art galleries to honky tonk tourist area to country western museums to sports arenas to the river walk. And restaurants galore! All within a few minutes walk. The room itself was clean and comfortable. Since we accessed the room with keypad code, we never met the hotel staff, but I had multiple text exchanges, and they were quick and attentive to all my concerns. I will stay here again the next time i visit Nashville!

Room 18 was a nice unit with full kitchen. Nicely appointed but bathroom could use a little TLC, a touch of paint and caulk would do it. I different shower head would be nice. The current one is full force all the time.

Location was excellent, 10 minute walk to Broadway. Spacious apartment with comfortable bed. There’s no cable TV just an Apple TV, would have preferred cable. The mirror in the bedroom is not well placed, it would be better if it was on the wall just outside the bedroom door facing the kitchen. No place to leave luggage if you have extra time before heading to the airport.

Property was nice, front entry door was not working so I had to go to the back. A little scary for a single female traveler at night. Also did not notice the large property fee when booking. Made for a very expensive night where a luxury hotel would have been a better option for the price!

There is no elevator. Most of the time when people travel, they bring luggage. Sometimes luggage is heavy and to lug it up 2 flights of stairs is sort of unacceptable. Also, I didn't feel unsafe, however there's no security and only a code to get in. I feel like it would be easy to get into the building if you just walk in behind someone else. Finally, although the room was cute, the floor boards were sort of loose and it just looked like a cheap rehab of an old apartment. It's fine if you're just in town to party, but if you like very basic amenities like an elevator, I would not recommend this place.

Pros: price & location. 5 minute walk to broadway Cons: both my husband & I are leaving with sore backs. The mattress was way too soft. Our suite had a weird, strong, musty smell. No AC in the bedroom so room was hot at night.

The entire building smells like mildew, including the beds… When booking on Expedia, it looks as though all of the rooms are exactly the same. Ours did not have an operational washer and dryer in it, but that wasn’t specified, the washer and dryer just were not listed in the ad as they were with the other ones. so we just randomly clicked a unit to book without realizing we wouldn’t have that function. It’s a nice short walk to Broadway but at night the area becomes a little bit sketchy. A homeless man walked right into our building behind someone and we happen to be opening our door and he came right inside our unit and wouldn’t leave until we gave him beer.

Only problem we had was that we werent able to start the dishwasher properly, options were selected but nothing happened. Besides that, everything was great, clean, well furnished, cool set up!
