"The property has the charm of a time long gone. Unfortunately, it is also quite old. We had living cockroaches and ants in our bathroom and bedroom. Moreover, our room was adjacent to the street. The noise of traffic woke us up multiple times at night due to the poor insulation of the old windows and walls. "The Landlord lady, (Ireny) was very friendly, with always the greatest humor. Extra accomodating she goes the extra mile to help you have a great stay in every aspects! (She Even went out with you to show me some places, explore my gym options, set up my telephone line, where to go for currency exchange etc). "The location is perfect in Salvador Praia da Barra, the hotel needs a serious renovation. Please change urgently the bathroom toiletries, they are really bad and the smell in the hair is terrible. Staff is very nice, checking in was super fast and on time. "

"I love the staff at the hotel, the manager was engaged with patrons and his staff worked hard at ensuring needs were met. I would stay there and recommend. I think the in house breakfast could do with some innovation, especially for vegetarians and others with food sensitivities. Additionally, more staff should at least be able to speak english to non portuguese speakers. Overall, I enjoyed my stay there."

From the moment I arrived, the staff provided outstanding hospitality, ensuring a smooth check-in process and making me feel welcome. Rooms My room was spacious, well-maintained, and spotless. The bed was very comfortable, and the amenities provided added to the overall convenience. The housekeeping team did an excellent job, ensuring everything was fresh and tidy each day. Nearby Activities The hotel’s location is perfect for exploring Salvador. It’s close to key attractions like Mercado Modelo, Elevador Lacerda, and Pelourinho, all of which are rich in culture and history. The beach is also a short ride away, offering a great mix of city and coastal experiences. Safety & Transportation I felt very safe throughout my stay. The hotel has good security measures in place, and the surrounding area felt secure. I used Uber to get around the city, which was very affordable and convenient. Drivers were easy to find, and rides to major attractions were quick and inexpensive. Food & Drinks The dining options at the hotel were fantastic! Breakfast had a great selection of Bahian and international dishes, always fresh and flavorful. I also dined at Casa de Tereza, which was an amazing experience with authentic local cuisine. The drinks at the hotel’s bar were refreshing, and the service was excellent. Final Thoughts Wish Hotel da Bahia exceeded my expectations in every way."

"I chose to celebrate my birthday at this property. The staff was more than accommodating all week long and they spoiled me with gifts in my room. I even broke my laptop and they gave me a loaner at no cost. They went above and beyond!! I will now look for Fasano Hotels in other cities where I choose to travel."
