"This is a wonderful modern hotel. The room was great, great views. Friendly staff. An awesome wellness area. Great dinners and the breakfast was amazing. They will pick you up and take you to the train station for a fee. Easy to get there by taking the gondola to Furi and then a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Would love to go again!!"

"This hotel is beside the Hotel Tannenhof which is the lobby you go to to check in. Hotel Alpina is the epitome of what you would expect for a swiss hotel stay. I loved everything about it. The room with a balcony, the elevator with its quirks, and the community guest area. Highly recommend taking the Matterhorn Glacier Express to get the most amazing mountain views. October also provided jaw dropping colours. For me this was a dream come true stay."

I would recommend staying here and no where else in Zermatt. We can't speak highly enough about the front desk staff. Room was spacious and comfortable. "Great hotel. Nice views of the Matterhorn. Quiet and safe. The staff is helpful and very friendly. Breakfast is great too. The hotel is close to the gondola but a good 20 min walk to the town. There is a convenient bus that takes you to the town for free but only until 8pm. Zermatt is very safe and easy to walk around. We went with our parents and kids and had a great time.
