"You can see why this hotel won an award for its redevelopment. For the price, the fit out is excellent and I would absolutely stay here again, without hesitation. The staff were very helpful too. The only minor gripe is the number of sun loungers. Most of the time, there were enough but during the busy afternoon they were all taken and there is the space for more or them. The pool area itself is great. "

"Our 3 day x 2 rooms (4 ppl) stay was comfortable however the bathroom drain had a terrible sewer smell coming up which we plugged with towels. The breakfast was a real let down - poor quality. The photos in your lifts advertise very clean vibrant breakfasts however the actual dishes were not fresh vibrant or tasty."

"This is a nice hotel very close to everything in Adelaide. We used public transportation - very convenient. The pool is nice although difficult to find a shady place to sit. The room was very comfortable even if our view was a concrete wall. The staff are helpful and friendly. Its an 8.5/10. I deducted a half point for the old orange chairs that look like they came from the 70’s "

"Was, well OK, check in wasn’t overly impressive, I forgot my wallet and there was a few blank looks over how I would pay the pay the deposit and pet cleaning fee. Bed was very firm and AC couldn’t be set under 20(I like it cold), very dusty behind TV, I had to switch it of and on at the plug to get it going. $80 pet fee I think is a little steep but at least there was a dog bed and bowl in the room."

"I have stayed at the rockford many times between 2020-2022, and was always given great service,the same room and most times an allocated car park. This this staff did their best to give me,not the same(as it was booked) but one almost exactly the same one floor down. Thats just great customer service"

"Beautiful hotel ride on the Murray River could not fold it. We had a studio over balcony. Everything you could want was downstairs bar restaurant cafe as the hotel is above a club. Hotel has a. On the first floor the river is quite fun to swim and look at the roof at the same time. The room Doesn’t have a toaster but does have tea facilities. "A beautiful property in an incredible part of the country. The hotel is large enough to feel luxurious, yet small enough to feel intimate & comfortable. The rooms were a great size & very well appointed with a good shower & everything you need as a traveller. The restaurant was fantastic & food was beautiful - really highlighting the produce of the region. Definitely would stay here again."

"Real value for money here. We were worried about traffic noise but apart from a few trucks we enjoyed a really quiet night. Staff, Dinner and breakfast couldnt be faulted. We live in Vic but fly out of Adelaide: the Arkaba will now be our accommodation of choice."
