"Very large nice hotel next to a large beach (by Malta standards). It is on the quiet north west coast and is not within walking distance of a village/town; you need a car if staying at this hotel otherwise you will spend all of your time at the hotel."

"The room we had was great and beautiful except for the fact that there was a lot of dust settled everywhere which was triggering our allergies. Despite that, they were very accomodating of our requests and is situated in a great location! Would highly recommend staying here"

"As a solo traveler from the UK to Malta from 19Feb to 24Feb, Urban Valley is recommended. The reception staff are very friendly and gave advice on how to move around the city. My favorite feature was I the free shuttle bus to and from Sliema, Valletta and a bay (at selected times) which guest would need to book ahead of time with the reception due to limited capacity on the bus (8). "As we visited in winter, we did not have access to the outside pool or bar because they were understandably under maintenance but we did have access to the private beach as well as all the indoor facilities- all of which were excellent. Very accessible and the staff are wonderful and make you feel at ease. Always there to help. Provides many sea activities even in the off peak season and at a good price too. Has hiking trails which was an unusual surprise. Food and beverages are great. All in all the best there is."

"Just returned from a 4 night stay in this hotel. What a beautiful hotel. I would say it is ideally suited to over 50s, superb rooms with everything you could wish for. Sea views, fantastic breakfast and evening meals. There is a buffet evening meal or a la carte or bar snacks. Complimentary taxi from the hotel into Valetta town near the bus station. Its a short walk but it is up a hill, so its great and runs every 20 mins. no need to book it. The staff are fantastic. the rooms are cleaned and beds changed every 2 days, turn down service in the evenings with complimentary chocolates left on your bed side table. towels given for the pool areas. Fantastic indoor pool with hot tub and very grand outdoor pool with amazing views. Cannot rate this hotel high enough. Book bed and breakfast and you can decide which evening meal you require and book at the reception for the evening. food in the bar area in the evening is great to. We had 2 evening meals in the admirals lounge buffet style. The international evening on a Monday was the best. Maltese buffet on the Wednesday wasnt as much to our liking, but well worth the money. We had an evening meal in the bar area one night excellent food, and 1 night out at the famous 33 steps taxi there and back 5 euros each way. Fantastic food and atmosphere. We will definitely return to this hotel, dont stay anywhere else you are guaranteed to love this place as much as we did."

"Everybody was amazing! Shan from reception, Alice and Sujata from spa, Julian from the gym, Cristy and Renelyn from the restaurant. Basically everybody from this hotel are excellent! The amenities are superb! 645 sea view room with the bath tub, love it! It would be perfect if the toilet is in the same area as the bathroom or even just have a bidet but because apart from that I absolutely loved my stay in this absolutely superb hotel. I will definitely come back! It's near everything and the view is just out of this world. "

"10/10 - FAULTLESS I celebrated my 29th birthday here over a weekend with 22 friends and the hotel accommodated to every single need I requested. They went above and beyond for me, the treatment and customer service I received was like no other. It truly was a faultless trip and that’s down to the efforts of all the staff, but in particular Martina!! Thank you again! Xx"

"This was my third stay at the Verdi, St. Georges Bay. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They are always smiling. Always willing to help. Breakfast was plentiful with choices for all.. I would have liked more fresh fruit but sitting on the terrace looking out to sea is a perfect way to start the day. My room was large with a wonderful sea view balcony. It was cleaned each day, often whilst l was at breakfast, to a very high standard. There is building work going on across the road from the front entrance but this did not impact on my stay as the rooms are at the back of the building overlooking the bay and out to sea. Numerous very good restaurants are within a 5 minute walk and there is a bus stop outside the hotel if you wish to go further afield. St Georges bay has a sandy beach, rare in Malta and there is a dive centre for the more adventurous. There is a casino and several clubs within easy walking distance. Far enough away to not disturb the hotel's residents but there if you want them. Some people have mentioned that the rooms look "tired". I would agree with this but to me cleanliness is far more important than the latest colour on the walls! A comfy bed and good blackout curtains more important than shiny new furniture."
