"We ended up in nh collection as an alternative. The original hotel we booked was horrible and had major issues, causing us to leave and book nh collection late. The overall experience would have been good if the day of check in, there was a more experienced colleague available to assist and save us wasting hours for our room to be sorted. "

"Loved the property — clean and quiet in that area. Bus to central station was nearby. Design of toilet floor could be better though. It was flooding as the water wasn’t directed to the drain and it flowed out of the toilet into the common area but nothing a towel can’t stop. Property was really pretty! Would stay again "

"Everything was great. The room, the location, and the easy access to renting the bikes. Only downfall was receiving only 1 roll of toilet paper for 1 week for 4 people. As well as the walk from the hotel to the train station was about 20 minutes of a walk and in the night there’s no lights besides your phone lights. "

"Good location for transport and walkable to shopping, trips and sights. Only thing dropping the rating was we were at the front of the building and it was noisy overnight. We were woken every night 2-3 times by noise from the streets. Otherwise great location and helpful staff. "

"Good size rooms and view of the water was good. Rooms had their linen changed but the living room and kitchen was pretty dirty still.. bathroom and toilet were good.. if you have a lot of luggage, suggest ask for a ground floor apartment as the lift was not working and the stairs were tight and steep.. "

Instructions were not timely and when received did not include how to access the external door to reach the safe where the physical key was located, so had to use international plan to call the property contact. Location of property was good. Bus to free ferry to and from Amsterdam Centraal ran every 30 mins. The ferry was every 4 mins and took very little time to cross. "We had an amazing stay at this property! The location is perfect, just a few minutes from Amsterdam Centraal, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. "Beautiful modern hotel on the waters edge, it’s about 6min walk from tram lines & about 10min tram journey to city centre, lovely helpful staff, good food & drinks section, we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a beautiful top floor room with a jacuzzi & free drinks which was wonderful surprise "

"if you go to amsterdam and don’t stay at Amrath Hotel, have you even been to amsterdam? Literally one of my favorite hotels in the world, located in the most convenient location with open views all around, right next to everything. The ceilings are sooo high, the decor and furniture is royal, and the restaurant, bar and food are just dripping with class, and charm. The pool is warm and hot tub hot. The architecture is impeccable. You can’t hear anyone or anything ever. Well ok you can hear the church and birds if you open the window (they open!!). Last but not least they have the most humble and helpful staff. They literally treat people like family. "

"Great location, not far from central station and a tram stop. Also offers parking just round the corner which was great for us as we had rented a car for one night of our stay and the staff were very accommodating. The room was spotless and very nice. The bed and pillows were very comfy. Would return if we are ever in Amsterdam again"
