"This is a family owned business - very friendly & helpful, located in an area east of Zurich right across from the train station. There are not many facilities around this hotel especially restaurants but the woman that checked us in recommended we take a 20 minute train ride to the small town of Raperswil-Joan which has 1/2 dozen lakefront restaurants. We had a fabulous meal there. "

"Check in was a bit complicated because they use an intercom to relay a code after a certain time. The door had some technical issues. But the staff was very patient and helped resolve it in ~15 mins. The room is nice, only equipped with a fan (but windows open). The shower water runs under the bathroom sink in our suite, so i wish the shower was better built. Overall 4/5 stay. I would recommend the town and facility to POC."

"This place is the best deal in Europe. You get a huge room a five minute walk to the HB. From there you’re looking at a ten minute ride into town. "I know this is a weird thing to comment on, but the highlight of our stay was the attendant at the front desk. He was sooo funny, personable and helpful! Even upgraded our room. I wish they'd add more pictures, because the place is much nicer than i expected based on the limited pictures. Wish we had more time to stay there and tour the area. The restaurant/ bar next store was okay. Had a smoking section, but the door was left open. I'm super sensitive to smoke so that killed the experience....
