"Mount Lavinia hotel is in an amazing location with a phenomenal view. The F&B staff and food is excellent and very friendly. There was a games room with a

table and table tennis table which my kids thoroughly enjoyed. There is work to be done in renovating the hotel and parts of the building to restore it to it’s former grandeur, but all in all a great place to base yourself and enjoy the beautiful and serene waves, lovely

"The staff at the hotel Berjaya are the highlight of the place. Everyone is so friendly and eager. Nikita was especially helpful at her job, and as a translator for the rest of the staff, she is a true gem. The rooms, although a bit dilapidated, are nice. The AC was very good. Everything could use some maintenance and a fresh coat of paint. The showers could use some careful attention, but they weren't the worst I have seen. The matresses need replacement, I had bloody springs in my back all...
