"A most helpful and accommodating manager. Beautifully clean and well appointed apartment - which had all that we needed. Queenstown is incredibly busy but very beautiful. Several choices for eating out and a good supermarket for cooking back at the Lodge. "

"We enjoyed our stay at this place, with a clean and comfortable suite, and a great location with stunning views. However, our check-in experience was a bit rocky. We encountered issues with the lock key, and despite repeated calls, it took around 45 minutes for someone to arrive and assist us. Luckily, someone checked the message on Hotels.com, or we would have been left stranded. Despite the late check-in (around 9 pm), we appreciated the eventual help. With some improvements to their check-in...

"We stayed at the Shearers Quarters and it was a lovely stay. There was a dedicated parking space, beautiful bathroom with soaking tub and comfortable king size bed. Easy walking access into town and helpful hosts. Our stargazing tour was canceled due to cloudy weather but the office for that was right down the street. "

"We absolutely loved this little house! We could see Lake Tekapo from the front porch and we grilled out and had dinner outside there one night. The place is super comfy clean and perfectly appointed with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. A short walk or drive into town brought you to shops a grocery and restaurants. The location was great and quiet and safe. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"Lovely modern set of properties, set up above Tekapo township. Well equipped, great shower, smart tv. The door keypad made it straight forward for entry."

"We are a family of 4 with 2 small kids and spent a very good time in an on-site room. Totally recommended and we would come back there. Unbeatable location. Meters away from dark sky project. You can stargaze from its backyard, too! Only 2 comments: some guests left food residual in the sink; maybe a major enforcement is necessary. The bunk bed ladder is squared and very uncomfortable. We would buy tshirts if they had the bending machine design. Thank you Haka House! "

"Very nice appointed motel opposite Lake Tekapo. Spotlessly clean, helpful staff, Very small town so easy to walk. Opposite beautiful lake. Nice photo opportunities. Comp parking. Ideal spot to break journey between Queenstown and Christchurch. 1 hour drive to Mt. Cook"

Amazing Views!

"The room was beautiful and spacious! My favorite features were the huge window with a view of Lake Tekapo and the snow-capped mountains, and the skylight for the dark sky views. The bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub, and the towels were spa quality. The room included a prepared breakfast along with continental options. The only downside was that it was about a 15 minute walk along a fairly busy highway to any restaurants or shopping, which were sparse. But all in all, it was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend Galaxy Boutique Hotel. "
