"Very easy access to town, nice spot outside to sit, easy to use bar area."

"Hotel ist zu Fuß schlecht zu erreichen, da der Weg an der Landstraße sehr unübersichtlich und gefährlich ist. Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Allerdings sind die Zimmer und Möbel mittlerweile renoviert, bzw. neu. Das Bad war alt, aber sauber. Leider ohne Heizkörper. Ferner war die Nachtspeicherheizung im Zimmer aus den 60er Jahren und bestimmt nicht mehr ökologisch vertretbar. Das Treppenhaus und die Flure waren renovierungsbedürftig. "Cute place, with a comfortable bed and very hospitable hosts! A welcome drink and top notch breakfast were provided with really excellent service. Room itself was on the small side and a bit dated, but we had everything we needed and the value can't be beat!"

"Very nice, small, apparently family run hotel with a big room with a sofa and queen bed. It's a bit too far to walk to the center of town, but it is located in a quiet area and has free parking. The included breakfast is excellent. Everything was fresh and tasty. Even cooked eggs to order for us. The hotel restaurant offers a traditional German dinner menu. Our only issue is the stairs are somewhat steep. The staff are very helpful and kind. "

"This property was a little further out but it was very easy to navigate your way into the center of town-we walked to everything from this hotel! The staff were excellent and the hotel breakfast was the best we had in our travels. We traveled by bike and they had hotel storage and early check in. Would definitely stay again!"

"Excellent value, good food and friendly, helpful staff, what’s not to like. Having read some of the negative reviews, I was expecting the possibility of a cheap and nasty dive. Nothing could be further from the truth in our experience! We’d go back tomorrow if we could!"

"Lovely location, very friendly staff, beautiful room! I had a quiet room overlooking the vineyards. There are also rooms overlooking the river, but they get afternoon sun on the balconies and you may get some street noise. The dinner and breakfast was lovely! They can reserve your favorite table. Lots of parking. Right next to bike trail- easy ride to Cochem! Super relaxing. They also have a nice looking spa area, i didn't use it though. Very good Riesling wine."
