"We arrived at prime check in time but no one at the desk, and it took 10 minutes and ringing the bell multiple times before anyone showed up. The room was very basic, and was on the first floor. It was incredibly hot, and although there was a fan, even with all windows open, it didn’t cool off. The fridge in the room was also putting out exhaust heat, adding to the misery. Being on the first floor, with windows open, we heard ALL of the street noise of which there was much - teens racing cars, pumping loud music and throwing firecrackers, in addition to standard traffic and street noise. The only plus was being able to get to the Gotthard tunnel before traffic backed up during a summer weekend."

"Great service. Food was great. Making your own Breakfast eggs were too challenging. Bed was squeaking."

"Great Hotel. Super renovation bringing it back to glory days but modern. Sad the restaurant was closed while we were there."
