"I had great hopes for this hotel but fell short a little. The property is nice and well done but does not offer anything beyond a room and a, lets call it "sufficient" breakfast. Unless you use the spa area which looks great on the pictures, there is just nothing else.
The view is great, the location is great and the hotel is in great condition. Hence the reason for the 5-star but it sure is lacking something a little more.
Parking is a bit of a pain and loading/unloading should be better...
"Upon arriving at the Parma train station, I took the number 6 bus to the hotel. The hotel is conveniently located near the golf course, which is easily accessible on foot. Just a stone's throw away from the hotel, you'll find a fantastic restaurant "L'Osteria di Massimiliano Rossi" that I strongly recommend. The Hotel is more than confortable and the staff is so nice and friendly, You will find like home."

Marco was so accommodating and always answered when we called! Once we arrived we were in absolute awe of not only the town but this magical property as well! "Since the booking was made for the same day, I wasn’t able to select a higher-priced option that includes free cancellation. I booked this hotel by mistake, as the drive turned out to be too long and we wouldn’t be able to arrive before check-in time. I understand this was my error, but I tried to cancel the reservation within 30 minutes of booking, and the system didn’t allow it. I also attempted to reschedule for a later date, but that request was declined.
I contacted both the hotel and Hotels.com, but haven’t been able to find a resolution. I would really appreciate it if the hotel could be a bit more flexible in a situation like this."
