We were right next to the housekeeping room on the first floor. It was so loud. We could also hear everyone and everything in the parking lot outside of our window. I should’ve asked for a different room. Rooms are outdated too. Stay at the holiday inn instead if you can.

Bed was comfy and the staff are friendly. Road is quite noisy and if you leave the air conditioning on it sounds a bit like a helicopter taking off in your room.

The room's carpet needs to be replaced. Bad odors and musty smell permeated in the carpeted hallways and our individual suite room. Even inside the elevator the strong musty smell is present. The place is very noisy, given its just yards from the noisy Hwy 120 shopping district, cannot open window to room because of traffic noise.

The old lady made our stay very special as we were staying here for our anniversary. The place is really well located on our stop for Yosemite. Highly recommend!

We travel a lot, stayed in many Best Western Hotels, and while I understand this is a small city, the accommodations were less than superb. Let me start with the bathroom, the hand towels had holes in them. Not one, not small, but large holes with ragged edges. And neatly hanging for a guest to use. I thought this could have been a mistake, using a cleaning rag instead of a hand towel until I brought it up to the front desk person that morning. She quickly ripped the towels at the holes and said she has to do that to stop the cleaning crew from using them as bath towels. So this was not a single incident. On top of that, the towel bar was rusted, not little spots, but the entire back plate on the wall was rusted solid with torn towels hanging. I took photos and if possible will post. The room smelled musty, maybe a smoker stayed there at some time. The mattresses are oddly perched on some kind of a metal stand and move easily. For $175 a night, this was beyond disappointing. Interesting how the BW website gives the Oakdale BW hotel good reviews. Wish I had read the Yelp reviews before booking this hotel!
