"The room was typical older mexican style but very clean, functional with good a/c. The grounds were beautifuly kept with a manucured botanical garden that I enjoyed everyday. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would like to say thank you to Carlos for all his help. He was the best!"

"This property was everything we had expected. We knew it was an older Mexican hotel and that is exactly what we were looking for when we booked. It was very quiet except at night as we had read in reviews you could hear the bars down the hill but this did not affect us. We still slept with the patio doors open. We again read that it did have 100 stairs to climb on your way up from the beach but we just made it part of our day and had no issues. The staff was great answering any questions but we...

"Room and bed were comfortable. Surprisingly quiet for the city, we were expecting much more noise. Breakfast was simple yogurt granola fruit and toast. We thought we would, but never used the pool because it was shady and cold. But very close to the beach and restaurants, even tried the restaurant, Kitty Cat, which I highly recommend! Roof top was enjoyable with a little view of the ocean. Place is a little dated but we assumed this. Was perfectly comfortable and affordable for our needs. "
