"A great location right on the lake in Hakone. Although it looked to be fully booked we did not see other guests and it was lovely and peaceful. "Great property on the hilly (mountain-y) slope with plenty of room (by Japanese standards) for our family of 4 adults, a kid and a baby. There was ample parking lots for our rental car and it was a short drive to amenities, and sights like Lake Ashi and the Hakone ropeway. Loved the fact that the 7-11 was a short walk up the hill, a restaurant next door, and a brewery on the other side of the house. "

"Large space in Hakone and very reasonably priced. Good for large groups of fit, young people. Recommended parking is up a very steep hill and stairs to second floor are a little narrow and steep. The house was otherwise clean and comfortable."
