"The property did have most of the things that we required, even though it was a bit basic, in my opinion it could have been a bit more cosy and comfortable. The property was not as clean as it possibly should have been (considering we received a email requesting that we leave it 'clean and tidy, as we found it', but the cobwebs had been there for a while. With that said, we still had a good stay and enjoyed our visit, be aware that it is a little remote."

"Lovely cottage, great location to get away from it all. Kitchen could do with a few more utensils and cooking items for those that want to eat in but a wonderful winter break with a lovely warm Aga in the kitchen, cosy rooms and a woodburner"

"Lovely tidy property, had all the mods and cons needed but the walls were a little thin and we could hear our nextdoor neighbours, And they could probably hear us. The hot tub was a selling point for us but unfortunately it wasn’t the cleanest and couldn’t use it for long. (2 evenings max). Also, the bed was a little too short for my 6ft4 husband."

"A little gem, beautiful cottage with everything you need for a relaxing break with peace and quiet. Unfortunately we were not able to stay for the full break as my wife tested positive for Covid so we decided to return home early as she was very unwell. We hope to return. "

"The cottage is spotlessly clean inside and outside with everything you need at hand. Comfy bed and settee in the living area. Secure, completely fenced outside area for the dogs. "

"We stayed for four nights. The very nice lady that owns the cottage, Nesta, had made cake for out arrival. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom has a bath, downstairs a shower. Kitchen was very well equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and there was a utility room with a freezer and washing machine. "The bungalow has a great layout, it’s spacious and feels modern. Unfortunately the garden hasn’t been maintained which meant we didn’t use it. The bedrooms were great with plenty of storage for clothes. The bathroom was a little tight and it’s always difficult when there’s not a separate toilet. Overall we enjoyed our visit."

"We had a lovely stay at Kingfisher cottage. The grounds of Maesgwynne Mansions (on which this small courtyard of cottages is situated) are lovely; this time of year flowering rhododendrons are a highlight, and a walk around took us past the fishing lake and neighbouring fields with various farm animals. There are fabulous views, and the outdoor swimming pool had a cover enabling us to use it even in early May. very peaceful & highly recommended."
