"This property is not fancy! It is really old! But it was clean, had a decent common area, pool and hot tub area. Location is great and the shuttle was super helpful. Steamboat is expensive and this place is affordable, so Keep that in mind when booking, you are getting very basic accommodations with thin walls and a major need of renovation. "Stayed here last week-end 1/24-1/25/25. Initially received a key to the wrong room. Unknown to us, we unpacked, went skiing, and went to the hot tub. Later in the day when staff realized what had happened they were very prompt, courteous and efficient in correcting the problem. I'm sure it was an awkward situation for all but the management staff and other staff made it as smooth as could be. Nice work! Would definitely stay here again. Clean, great shuttle service and well maintained. "

"Great location with all of the downtown in easy walking distance. Beautiful doggies in the main office to pet along with tea and hot chocolate. Location was quiet and clean. Easy parking. 8min to mountain by car or very easy free bus across the street. Would stay again"

"Great accommodation and huge offering of activities for my 9-year old daughter. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The convenience of the dining hall, with options for everyone, can’t be beat. We were able to focus on having fun, relaxing, and trying all the available activities instead of running around. Will be back in a few weeks! Thank you "

Minor complaints but loved it overall

"Loved the outdoor hot tub and heated pool, dry sauna, and convenient location. The room was clean and comfortable. One minor complaint: the toilet is an old, slow-flushing model that could be replaced. Also the bathroom is quite small but whatever. Fitness center looked nice but we didn’t use it. Parking was pricey at $40 a day but it was convenient and available. It is a true “ski-in” hotel and *almost* a true “ski-out” hotel - due to the way they groom the slopes around the gondola, you have to walk a short distance up the hill before putting on your skis. Not a deal breaker for us and we would love to stay here again!"

"It is a great property to stay at with families. There is so many activities to do, that you won’t know what to do first. It is a great place to have weekend getaway! Only like 10-15 minutes away from Downtown Estes Park but again there is so much to do that you wouldn’t need to leave the property at all. Once we got there we saw that there is lodge rooms and cabins that could be rented out. For sure coming back! "
