"Clean, safe, pleasant staff. Booked a twin room but the second bed was a sofa bed, uncomfortable for my friend. A normal single bed or twin single beds would have been a better option. The fabric on the sofa was very stained, you would not sit on it. Queen bed was very comfortable. The undercover parking had no access to the motel, we had to move the car to the small crowded outdoor parking area to get our luggage etc to our room. I’m not sure that this is mentioned in the Hotels.com listing and I had to make a phone call to do this from an area with poor phone reception whilst on a driving trip. More annoyingly, 8 days later and the money has not been refunded even though I’ve received confirmation that it will be. "

"We were the only the guests at the time, which meant we had a bedroom, lounge and dining all to ourselves. Margaret is the perfect host - warm and welcoming and completely unintrusive. The decor is classic federation style, all beautifully maintained, but also with modern air-conditioning - we were warm and toasty both inside and out!"
