"Lovely historic hotel in the heart of the city. Parking was very tricky (as noted by another reviewer) and made more difficult with the Christmas market. However, the hotel staff was extremely courteous and accommodating. Our room was a suite with separate living area and bed. The bathroom was modern and well appointed. Excellent location!"

Two things to help improve: 1 curtains need to be more black out as the lights from the street illuminate the entire room; 2. luggage that is left needs to be secure and not left in the lobby. It is about a 20- min leisurely walk to Capitole. The room is clean , large and heating is more than adequate for winter. There is a kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave oven. The front desk is extremely helpful and polite. English speakiers need not worry as the staff communicate well in English. "
