"This was an overnight stay for us. We arrived after the reception normally closes but we appreciated that one of the staff waited around for us to provide our keys. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. It was just what we needed after a long day of driving."

"Rydges is a lovely little hotel situated on the harbour at Newcastle, accessible to the walking tracks headed out to Newcastle and Merewether Beaches. The valet parking was excellent, as was all other staff. The room was comfortable and well appointed. The pool area was a sun trap, very relaxing. ..."
