"Such a pleasant surprise! Wanted to stay in a smaller town, and Gerswalde is pleasant walkable town, with a historic castle site a few blocks from the hotel. The restaurant was not open temporarliy, but the breakfast was wonderful; teated to home made jam, and fruit from the garden. Super friendly and helpful family run this quaint country hotel."

"Bare basic hostel rooms. No reception so getting anything was difficult. Rowdy noisy crowd stayed there. Shared toilets not clean."
