"The street side of the resort hides all of the charm and comfort we experienced inside. The nice pool and patio area surrounded by tropical plants and trees was nice for relaxing around. Our room was quite comfortable with a large bed and plenty of space. "La Mariposa is a hidden gem and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Staff at the front desk and restaurant were wonderful. Views were amazing. Communication was good when they hosted a wedding onsite and the restaurant hours were limited, so that other plans could be made.
