"This property has been beautifully renovated and provides every modern amenity (except AC, which is pretty much non-existent in Scandinavian countries). It is EXCEPTIONALLY clean. The laundry area was also really useful for us.
I was expecting the location to be more "touristy" based on the pics, but it's actually located in the back of a commercial/industrial area, and about 45 min drive to the more popular/touristy areas of Senja. "
"Very friendly front desk staff. Excellent breakfast buffet, which included the best smoked salmon I've ever had.
Cosy cafe dining room with an open fire. The bacalao was delicious."

"This is not a luxury accommodation. But for the amount of money is great value. Rooms are clean and neat. Bathrooms clean. There is laundry available for very inexpensive amount (about $2 per load for both washer & dryer). Arne was our staff member taking care of us and he was great: extremely polite and professional, very well mannered and educated. We had great chats and he was very enlightening about Norway and Senja Island. We met other travelers who were also very nice and like-minded (profesional and family educated people into adventures and cultural travels, who were very friendly and enjoyed conversations). The location was convenient, and perfect road trip stop between TromsĂž & Lofoten Islands."
"We were made to feel welcome at check-in and given help with directions to sightseeing in the Senja region as well as a great place to eat in nearby Finnsnes. A spacious room in fairly simple accommodation was suitable for our one night stay and the continental breakfast was good. Block-out curtains would have been nice."
"The view was awesome, but the staff was better. One of my first experiences in the snow and it was unforgettable. Perfect view of the snowfall from a full window wall. The forest looked like a winter wonderland. Best part i was able view the Borealis lights from my room! No need to venture out. Oh yes, the room was clean and beautiful. Breakfast is included! Do have a couple restaurants down the hill."
"Incredible pace in a spectacular natural setting, about 1.25 hours from Tromso. Our fjord front cabin was spectacular- each day and night we woke to breathtaking views ( traveled in winter.). We saw the northern lights from our multiple balconies and the large windows in our unit. Everything was beautifully appointed. It is, however in a remote area tucked amidst mountains and fjords.! If you go, note there are no stores or on premise food purchase options except the restaurant. Also, it is not possible by Norwegian ABC laws to have a social or class of wine outside of the main hotel. BYOB, snacks and other provisions from Tromso ior elsewhere! It is a perfect and magical getaway! Thank you to the resort staff for making our stay truly memorable!"
