"I booked into the Presidential suite for 3 nights but stayed for 1 (23 June). Not even close to 5 star. The room door did not lock from the outside, the bathroom tap had a leak and when I tried to close the bathroom door it did not close fully, the TV remote from the room next door was controlling my TV so I could not relax and watch TV, the bed was very noisy and you could also clearly hear the conversations and TV from the room next door. "A heartfelt thank you the owners Charl and Riana de Kock for hosting us at their lodge. Thank you very much to Lynette and Esti for making us feel welcome and making my Dad’s 80th birthday weekend so special, from a lovely birthday cake to champagne! Lido was very helpful and looked after us the entire weekend. Our rooms were beautiful and the food lovely. A special thank you to Bertie. You made the game drive so memorable. He went out of his way to show us as much as possible and his knowledge on the animals were amazing! Kruger Riverside Lodge is a small establishment which cares for their guests and make you feel like you are at a 5-star resort. We loved every minute of our stay. Thank you SO much for everything! "

"I had a wonderful stay at your hotel! From the moment I arrived, the ladies at the reception were incredibly warm, welcoming, and professional ,they truly set the tone for a great experience. The room was spotless and exceptionally well-maintained. I was especially impressed by how clean everything was, and the quiet atmosphere made it perfect for rest and relaxation. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would gladly return. Highly recommended"

"The guesthouse provided an excellent stay. The room was spacious and well-appointed, complete with high-quality amenities. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night. The small kitchen and well-stocked minibar added a convenient touch to the stay. Although two of the LED lights were not functioning, the overall experience was very positive and offered great value for money. The nearby restaurant, Orange, offered an exceptional dining experience that seamlessly complemented our stay at the guesthouse. Renowned as one of the finest establishments in Mbombela, Orange impressed with its exquisite cuisine, attentive service, and inviting ambiance. Each dish was a delightful testament to culinary artistry, making our meal both memorable and satisfying. Without a doubt, Orange stands out as a culinary gem in the city, adding to the overall positive impression of our visit. "

"I had a wonderful experience. Everything was perfect—the rooms were comfortable, and the atmosphere was peaceful. One of the highlights was enjoying breakfast on the deck, which offered a beautiful view of the trees and mountains. The scenery really stood out and made the mornings extra special. I highly recommend Mantengo Lodge for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature."

"I had the kings suite. Quite nice that in a large villa there is a shared space but you also have your own room or suite inside the villa. It was quiet and comfortable. The location in the Ezilwini valley is very beautiful and convenient if you have a car. Friendly personnel and a relatively good restaurant too. I tried the eggs Benedict for warm breakfast that was so so not the greatest but am confident that other warm breakfast options will be better. Overall I would recommend it. "
