Great location! Clean and spacious room. One thing, if you are an American traveling in the fall/winter, be advised there is no A/C in the room. Typical for any hotel in Europe.

Perfect location! Although this hotel is central and has great access to shops, restaurants and several metro stations it was also very quiet so we had a good nights sleep. We arrived late on a Monday night and the receptionist recommended a few nearby restaurants which would still be open. Over the next few days we tried them all and they were all really good and reasonably priced. The room itself and the bathroom were clean and looked like they had been freshly decorated. The room we had had a balcony and although the weather wasn't quite good enough for sunbathing I could see it being a pleasant place to sit on a warm summer's evening. I would recommend the hotel and the area if visiting Madrid.

We had an outstanding stay at Motel One Madrid. The staff were outstanding from the moment we walked into the hotel. The room was perfect—great AC, great size, great all around. The house cleaning staff were the best…very understanding to our needs and helped me with my Spanish and vice versa. There is a great neighborhood associated with the motel, along with numerous restaurants to choose from, a local grocery and many close attractions. It was a wonderful stay of 10 days. Beautiful room and bathroom. Smaller but beautiful lobby and affordable bar. Close to Main Street to jail a taxi but also very walkable, lots of food options near by. Staff was very kind and helpful but could use a better check in space. Elevators were small but at least they have them! Next time I will book a room on the top floor for the balcony because that is the only thing that I think could have made the experience better.

Overall, I really enjoyed our stay at Motel One Madrid-Plaza! The staff was very helpful, the hotel is greatly located and the room was very clean! The only issue is that the rooms are not as soundproof. If loud enough, you can hear the guests in the next room. Aside from that, I enjoyed my time. I would recommend!
