"The hotel is above a shopping centre without any grounds around the hotel, however, it is in an excellent location within easy walking distance to the old town. All the staff were very helpful throughout our stay. The bedroom was sleek and modern with an ‘open plan’ shower/wash area. The beds were very comfortable with 3 different pillows varying from soft to firm. There are no views other than from the rooftop swimming pool and bar area but this didn’t significantly detract from the stay as we...

"Had a great stay all the staff were great. We had an upgrade to a suite what was very nice of them. The location was lovely and allowed easy travel to all places. Overall would recommend hotel to anyone, I would also gladly return to this hotel. "

"It was a nice quite property with an amazing view of the ocean. The hotel has its own shuttle service that can take you to Funchal but also across the street is public bus that is more frequent. Close by is also a swimming area as well as snorkeling equipment rental that you could get to jump in the ocean. The property has nice clean pools, sauna, spa and hammam which we really enjoy. "
