Drinks are served from the italian restaurant next door. With some greenery and more comfortable seats, this large and empty sitting area could be more enjoyable and even become a place where people like to gather in the evening. Rooms are rather basic, however; bathrooms are clean and modern, but the rest of the room feels dated and cheaply made (old carpets, cheap desks, worn out lamps, etc). One of my TVs did not work. Did not eat the breakfast so can’t comment. I would recommend this hotel but if you have time take the hop on hop off bus to see other areas of Lyon that have nicer shopping and to view all the sites. "
