"Despite my calling them multiple times, they had no records of the reservation. I had to provide them with the confirmation email when they demanded payment upon checking out. There is no door or partition to the toilet. There is no privacy to the room as the front door is partially made of see-through glass. You can see through the whole room from outside. "The sliding door to the room leads to a shared balcony with other rooms. Well the door was not secure, the locking mechanism was cheap and bent and could easily be opened by pushing it which puts valuables at risk for being stolen. That is my only complaint"

"This is an excellent hotel but with one small complaint: No brewed coffee for breakfast. If you want good coffee, you need to pay a stiff fee. It's odd. Nearly every hotel offers free coffee but the Vittoria charges several hundred shillings for a cup. Come on Vittoria, you run an excellent hotel operation, you can offer brewed coffee with breakfast! "

"The staff, including Judith at the Reception, Evans, the chef, and the security team, were exceptionally hospitable and professional, ensuring a delightful stay with freshly prepared meals. The rooms, meticulously maintained by the housekeeping team, are both clean and well-appointed, making them perfect for both business and leisure travelers. Additionally, the soundproof windows provide a serene environment, even for rooms facing the bustling Oginga Odinga Street. I highly recommend this venue to both returning and first-time guests visiting the lakeside city of Kisumu."

"I stayed at the property for one week. The rooms were spacious but dated. Some fixtures need to be replaced (stained carpets, mosquito netting, shower curtains). Appeared to be mold on bathroom ceiling, and dead insect in bathroom on check-in. However, staff extremely friendly and restaurant was very good, although expensive by local standards. Wifi was sometimes inconsistent. Overall, I rate stay as average."
