"Great Staff and location make this five star Constantly surprised how inconvenient and expensive parking is in the UK. Unfortunately we were later in the evening on a busy weekend so I ended up parking down the street in the central city parking lot"

"Near motorway, good rooms and breakfasts.Staff helpful, easy parking, lovely river walk to Lancaster Castle took us around 30 mins , not a car in sight."

"This was our 2nd stay at this resort and it probably won't be our last. It is great value, we had a studio lodge which gives so much more than a hotel room. A huge super king bed, dining table, mini kitchen and sofa. On the side of the lake it is very pretty for walking and watching the ducks. There is also crazy golf and childrens play area. There is a also an indoor swimming pool although it looked great, we didn't use . We ate in the restaurant twice, staff are friendly and the food enjoyable. Most nights there is also caberet entertainment in a separate room. Reception staff are also friendly and have a new text message system of keeping in touch."

"The hotel is great our room was exceptional 304. The staff are courteous. The access to the health club is a real bonus. Only thing that did not feel quite right for us was the breakfast. It felt disjointed, not presented well ie the bread only brown and white sliced just dumped in a pile. Cold plates for a luke warm "hot breakfast" all in all nothing wrong but needs someone to give it an overview. "

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were given a little tour of the property when we checked in. The grounds were absolutely beautiful with a lovely view of the lake. We enjoyed our meals in the dining room and had a drink in the bar. The room was comfortable and clean. It was as an easy walk to the ferry boat dock and to several restaurants and shops. "
