"the hotel was perfectly located with the pier a 3 minute walk, lots of bar and restaurants surrounding and breakfast overlooking the beach. the rooms were spacious and clean, not modern but it’s still lovely. aircon can’t stay on as you have to hand the key in so room can sometimes get hot for the initial first few mins but wouldn’t put me off staying there again "

"Gorgeous hotel with excellent pool. We stayed in luxury double pool sea view room on 3rd floor. It is exactly like the pictures. Very clean pool, outstanding views. Great small beach area in front of hotel. Clean and large room. AC worked great. It took us a minute to learn to use the shower controls but usually the hot water worked ok. The staff responded to requests for help quickly. Location - both pros and cons. We loved it. It is the furthest from the party areas, so it was much more quiet...

"I loved that this property was in walking distance of the main pier (we came from Ao Nang, Krabi ferry). Everyone was delightful and helpful. The breakfast that is included (at least our stay) was fabulous - good healthy options included. We are right between opposite beaches on the north and south side (near Ao Ton Sai Pier and Loh Dalum beach) - how convenient is that? "Beach access very limited around the island. This hotel has both direct beach access and loungers which is unusual. Unfortunately most of waterfront on the island is clogged with boats. Will say the wifi is very bad. We stayed in villa 129 and there was no wifi signal there! Overall a nice clean property with decent breakfast offerings. Very disappointed in the onsite restaurant - had dinner there on our last night. Would skip it for many other great options nearby. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Uphill Cottage! The staff was super nice & views were amazing, plus it’s right next to the Phi Phi viewpoint & 5-10 minutes away from bars/restaurants. If you’re coming to this island, you’re likely aware of the party atmosphere - the music did not stop until 3-4am! The only other downside was Expedia listed an 8am check-in, but we could not get into our room until 2. "

"Hotel has its own free longboat service to get help take you and your bags to and from the ferry. Walk to main part of town was short, only a tiny bit across the beach then on a path. Hotel room was nice. Pool area, bar area and bathrooms in need of some TLC."

"Little property in the most convenient area. Not large rooms or fancy, but clean, quiet and comfortable. Our room had a window in bath bit not bedroom which in a tourist bust area was great for a quiet night sleep. "

"We were placed in a brand new building they had just finished. We may have been the first to stay there. The room was clean but the door dosnt reach the floor so misquitos and other bugs can get in. They had no nets so we had to use a towel to block the bottom. Overall its a nice hotel they will take your bags from the ferry but didnt offer to help us take them back."

"The location was excellent! The rooms were tired and need to be revamped. The Bathroom was full of flying bugs and the shower definitely needs to be improved and cleaned much better. The Main door to the villa was not safe and very flimsy. Not much space for a couple and their 13 year son to put clothes out for easy access. We enjoyed our stay but the Hotel could improove a little to make it much much better."

"We had an amazing stay at Centara Grand in Krabi! The resort was absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking scenery that made for a truly relaxing getaway. One of the most unique aspects was that it’s only accessible by boat, which gave it an exclusive and secluded feel—perfect for a peaceful escape. We stayed in an oceanfront villa, and it was fabulous! The room was spacious and well-appointed, and we especially loved the private plunge pool. A special touch that meant a lot to us was the lovely honeymoon decoration they left for us—such a thoughtful gesture! While our overall experience was fantastic, there were a couple of minor inconveniences. We requested someone to check our mini fridge a few times, and though we were told someone would come, no one ever did. Additionally, the restaurant service was a bit slow—we often had to flag down the waitress to get our tab, as we weren’t checked on regularly. That said, the beauty of the resort, the exclusivity, and the luxurious accommodations far outweighed these small issues. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stunning and tranquil getaway in Thailand!"

Beautiful place with amazing staff

"We spent six nights at Phi Phi Relax resort. We were a bit unlucky with the weather most of the days, with rain, strong winds and lots of clouds, which we were told was very unusual. I also had a very bad stomach for one and a half day, but the staff was so nice and helpful, both to my husband, who had to eat his meals alone, and to me bringing medicine and rice soup and being very caring Thank you, Laura, and all the rest of you. Be aware, that when you arrive on the longtail boat, you will get wet, when you get off, as there is no pier. So shorts are recommended. Also, it is good to bring some bathing shoes, as there are quite a few rocks in the water. When the water is clear, you will see them (and a lot of fish), but on windy days, bathing shoes are nice to have. The beach is beautiful, and as you can only get to this resort by boat or about one hours walk, it is very quiet and nice. We had a very nice bungalow right on the beach, with a wonderful terrasse, where we could sit/lie and read on rainy days. The resort really lives up to its name - it is a great place for relaxation. But the best thing about this place is the fantastic staff! They made us feel at home, had a good sense of humor, and were always very helpful."

"Coco Beach is a very nice hotel. We stayed in a cabin in the front with a view of the beach and pool area. And we are very pleasant by that. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff was nice and the level of service was high. We did know that Phi Phi is a loud island. But it is sad that the noise from the bars on the beach is that loud. And the walls of rooms at Coco Beach are very thin. But overall we recommend the hotel. "

"This was my first time staying at this resort, and I would stay here again. For the price, it’s a great place. The location is beautiful with a gorgeous beach with shallow clear water; great for snorkeling. The restaurant on the beach has delicious Thai food and lots of other options with very affordable prices and very nice staff. The view from our room was stunning. I love that the location is away from the crowds, but because it’s on a hill it could be challenging for people with mobility challenges. There’s a covered truck with seats at back of the truck, but that can be difficult to get in and out of as well. The room and bathroom were very clean and the drinks included were appreciated. The only complaint I would have is that the bed was a bit too hard for my taste. But again, the price, beach and views outweigh that and I would stay here again. "
