"It’s a historic hotel, so I expected the quaint quirkiness that comes with an old building. The room was lovely, the staff was nice and helpful, the dinner in the pub was good. My room was nice and comfortable, the only thing I wash it had was some sort of view. (It did not advertise one, so that’s not a problem) I did enjoy having the roof deck to sit out on for coffee, but wished there had been a view of something."

"Rooms are hap-hazardly shabby....basic. Not upscale, not a place for romance. Excellent dog hotel. We've stayed here for years with our dogs. Great access to beach and location to town. "

"The beds were dirty. We found slippers and dirt in the sheets, when I told the front office she handed me new bedding to change myself and we paid over 300.00 a night. Will not stay here again. "
