"We had a lovely stay at the Mendocino Inn and Farm. Our Ocean View Jr. Suite was in the East Farmington room (in the Stevenscroft building). This room has a lot of windows and great light. We looked right out onto the amazingly beautiful garden and had a distant view of the ocean. The staff delivered a delicious breakfast to our door every morning, the king-size bed was extremely comfortable, and the wood fireplace (which we used every night) was a treat. The bathroom, which is large, has a tiny stall (but the shower is nice). The wifi, as reported in some of the other comments, was sketchy and not always reliable. There is no refrigerator or microwave in this room, but both are located in a small kitchenette also in the building (handy but not very convenient). We wished for a larger table (the little round table in the room was quite small), and a shelf on which we might have placed belongings. The staff was extremely accommodating; the restaurant in the lodge building had some amazing pizza; and the grounds, complete with a trail to the beach, are gorgeous. Mendocino itself is quaint with a lot of good restaurants and shopping. We had a fabulous dinner at Trillium – and be sure to eat outside at Patterson’s."

"Property was right on the ocean with an easy to walk path right outside our room. Weather was also very nice, thankfully. Room furniture could use an update. Looks like it came out of the 70"s. I guess if you like the style it is fine. Everything was in good condition, but not what we were expecting."

"Stayed two nights. I was concerned about some of the reviews. I had a lovely visit. Renovations look so good. Quiet after 10 pm. The bed was very comfortable. As an older single lady, I felt quite safe. "

"This Hotel was lovely. Right near downtown Fort Bragg. The bath tub was perfect to relax in after a busy day of walking. Very close to the Skunktrain. Museums and botanical garden.Staff was wonderfully nice! "
