"Nice hotel and very clean. Our room was large and nicely decorated. Staff were very pleasant. Evening meal was well cooked and very tasty. Only complaint was the steak was tough but the chef had made the best of what was a poor piece of meat - not his fault. Breakfast was very good."

"Standard Campanile fare. Location on the edge of the town was the only real downside. Excellent breakfast provided file for the day's cycling ahead. Book a ground floor room if cycling so you can put the bikes in the room more easily."

"Booked as a stayover on fishing trip to Brittany. The town is lovely,the hotel and staff were lovely and there are several nice bars/restaurants within a short walk. There is a parking garage under the hotel too so if you have a van full of fishing gear,like us,your car or van can be parked securely. "We spent 3 days in the "cowshed" room at Le Bois Gautier. The accommodation was very spacious with a full kitchen and a large bedroom and bathroom upstairs. We received a warm welcome from the new owner Bill who had prepared a log fire for our arrival, this made the accommodation very cosy and was a great touch. "Get the river view even off season which we did. You can open your window and hear the soothing sounds. The room was well appointed, modern and clean. The on-site restaurant was pretty good too considering the front desk staff do double duty to cook as well. Service was top notch. "This is a nice family owned property. We picked it because it was a 15 minute drive away from Mont San Michele. Parking was on site, secure and easy. The rooms and common areas of this property are dated but clean and well-maintained. The bathrooms appear remodeled and while they are small, they are extremely functional.
