"Such a lovely, unique experience staying in a private ‘igloo’. Everything about the igloo has been well thought through. There are 3 heaters and electric mattress warmers to ensure warmth in the cold months. They were very effective. If the Northern Lights had been visible during our stay, we would have had the perfect view. "Had a town 10 mins away with cute bakery and food options . Our stay was comfortable. We got to see northern lights 2 out 3 nights of our stay from the backyard . Good location to golden circle . We woke up early and got to the stops before the bus tours came in and it felt less crowded doing it that way. "

"Really interesting lodging! Beautuful viewing tower for seeing surnise, sunset, and northern lights. I would have preferred a more robust door to separate the bathroom from the rest of the room but great otherwise. Really nice lighting and use of the space. Only 15 minutes drive from Secret Lagoon! "I absolutely loved my stay here. I stayed two separate nights during my travels and these cottages are so well equipped for a home away from home. Everything you could want is provided, they really have thought of everything. The cottages were beautiful, clean, comfortable and the views were stunning! They have plugs for EV cars at each cottage too which is a bonus for people driving e cars. I got to meet one of the owners, she was lovely. I can’t recommend this place enough, it’s a must stay...

"This is a cute room to rent on a quiet farm. The only thing I would suggest is update some of the pictures of the actual building. We were confused when we arrived because the building we were staying in didn't look like any of the advertised pictures so we weren't sure if we were in the right place. Thankfully, they had signs guiding us to the right building. Also, we weren't fussy but some people may not be happy staying in an apartment attached to a farm garage. "

"Gorgeous spa hotel that included a soaking tub in the room. The restaurant was a bit lackluster, with the exception of the desserts- which were truly incredible. The restaurant was apparently undergoing a management change when we were there, so it is understandable that the meal was a bit chaotic. Overall, a lovely hotel in a great location and we would definitely stay again. "

Quiet charming hotel

"The hotel was great. It is a remote location and it was the middle of the winter, so I think we might have been the only people in the hotel. We chose it because we wanted to be near Thingvellir and Gullfoss. The service and food was was excellent and I would not hesitate to stay there again. There is a natural spa nearby too. "
