The room in the Stracta hotel was very small. It was also super busy. Outside of 1 waitress who was super nice, everyone else felt like they were cold and didn't want to be bothered.

The apartment 20 we stay at looked nothing like the pictures. The hot tub was luke warm and smelled like chlorine as best. Amenities offered in the shared is one push refill for shampoo and body wash. For a 4 star space, it’s lacking is basic offerings. Apartment was ready and clean when we arrived. Luckily we came by car so we were able to park in front of our room but walking to the main dining required an outside trek to the breakfast area.

The property served as a conveniently located hotel to serve as a base to explore the southwestern Iceland area. The breakfast was hearty and was a great way to start a day of activities. The only downside was that the sauna needed some repairs on the benches and the hot tubs weren't hot.

The hotel is just off the Ring Road which made it convenient as a stopping point. The included breakfast was lovely in that it had both hot and cold options with alot of fruits. Most of the hotels that I had rented in Iceland only had the cold option. The included walkway to view the northern lights was nice and toasty but the hallway lights stayed on all night so you would have to actually step outside to view the northern lights then duck back inside for warmth. Will definitely recommend coming back to stay in this hotel if I ever come back to Iceland

This was a great nights stay. The property offers free parking, free breakfast and has hot tubs and saunas. The way the hot tubs are designed are perfect on those clear nights for when the northern lights are out. The room was a little smaller, but it was perfect for a night or two. The staff were very friendly! The food was good and the room was clean.

My wife and I recently took our first short trip to Iceland. We stayed at the Stracta Hotel for 3 nights while daytripping around the southern coast of Iceland. We selected the deluxe suite and I cannot say enough nice things about it. When entering the room we were immediately impressed by the style and look of our our suite. It was absolutely gorgeous. The furniture was comfortable and the private hot tub was amazing. Overall it was just very stylish and very comfortable. We had the included breakfast each morning we were there and there was a wide selection of food to choose from and more than enough to get our day started. We also choose to eat at the bistro one evening while there. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We were extremely satisfied with our stay and would definitely recommend staying here.

It was a nice hotel, well kept, clean. The breakfast had several options and it was worth having it included in the reservation. There were limited parking spots and we got lucky finding a spot each night. There's a supermarket nearby. Not many restaurants around. I suggest renting a cae if tou want to get around. The rooms are small, but typical for Europe. Small shower. The sauna was great! Overall, a good hotel to stay. We were there for two nights.
