Latina hotel rooms a the Melia

"Very nice hotel near airport with free transfer to and from the terminals. Also close to Metro station that can take you to Madrid Centro."

"Location, location, location. first day i took an uber to the palace and on my second day took the hopoff and hopon bus and realized that most of the popular tourist attractions were within walking distance of the hotel. I arrived at 9am for a 3 pm check in and the reception went out of their way to get a room ready within the hr. I wasted $ going out for breakfast, to later realize how good the included breakfast was. "

"As other reviews have stated, the hotel is currently under construction so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was really surprised! The construction seemed to have been going on for awhile so everything looked very new and modern. The rooms smelled recently renovated and were very large and comfortable. There was amazing shower pressure and they left us chocolates everyday. The only issue I had, which honestly I barely noticed, was that the flights would flicker on and off every so often but never permanently. I assume it is because of ongoing construction. Staff was kind and the breakfast buffet was good and had a lot of options. The location is a little further from all the main sights. It took us about 20-25 minutes to get there from the train station. The royal palace was about 10 minutes away walking. The subway station is right across the street. Huge mall on the other side of the hotel. There was almost always a taxi waiting outside also so transportation was not an issue. Great comfortable stay. "

"Gran View apartments is walkable, and has a grocery store in the same building. It also offers excellent views over Madrid, looking north toward the Guadarrama. The rooms are modern and in good condition. The appliances and washer/dryer are functional. The microwave is of the multi-function variety that doubles as an oven of sorts. Located almost directly across from the Callao metro stop, the property is centrally located for easy walking access within about 20 or 25 minutes to Madrid tourist sights (Palace, Prado, Thyssen-Bornemisza, Reina Sofia, Plaza Mayor...)."
