"On the plus side, dinner and the service at Oakwood was fantastic, the room was clean and the beds were nice. It's a historic older hotel so you would expect the rooms to be small. The view was nice over the lake. We could hear people talking in our neighboring room. The inside wooden doors were cheap and tired. For the price (about $350 per night) you would expect a better experience, but then it's Green Lake so everything is a bit pricey. Nice lobby, great bartender and great wait staff!"

But my big irritation with Expedia is their description of housekeeping. Hotel only had housekeeping every 3 days even though it says daily on the website. We will stay there again. "

"check in was good, breakfast was not great. sausages were warmed but not remotely cooked. eggs didnt taste good at all. we stopped for breakfast after trying to eat your breakfast, so we had a decent meal after check out. check out was a long process because the person was trying to charge me $180 for the room, which i had already paid for through expedia. check out process was 20 minutes!!! which delayed us getting on the road.
