"We stayed here for 4 nights (2 adults with 2 grown up children) and it was fabulous for us. Location was perfect, beds are very comfortable, housekeeping is excellent, it has air conditioning which was great. We didn't have a car but bus and ferry stops are within a couple of mins walk. Our hosts Umberto & his wife were so nice and Umberto gave us very helpful advice and very interesting local knowledge, and he speaks very good English!. "The outside of the place is not very appealing really needs some work, the room wasn't too bad, decent size and decent bathroom but the carpet in the rooms and hallways was old, loose and dirty. It isn't very good when you don't want to touch the buttons in the elevator because you can see how grimy they are, it is the little things that often count. I don't see how or why a hotel doesn't see things that are run down or just plain dirty. But overall it is near the lake and at least in October...
