"Good people in a rough neighborhood. The carpet and bathroom were both sub par in cleanliness and appearence. Not terrible but the big stain right at the entrance of the room was a bad first impression. Staff were helpful and friendly though which counted for a lot."

"Property remains like new on the inside and is maintained and kept well. The walk from the parking garage over across the street can be challenging with full hands as key cards need to be scanned and are delayed in doors opening. Market staff was kind but they were challenged to keep up during peak times causing a long delay. Room was clean and stocked with a nice view of the river and bridges. "

"I’m a bit on the shorter side and found the beds quite high to get into, they were comfortable to sleep on so that made up for it. If you’re shorter than 5’3” you might want to ask about options. The hotel is an easy walk to The Moda Centre and the Tri Met stop. Although there is a coffee shop on site we didn’t get to try it due to its limited hours. There is a large homeless population in the area but we were never approached or felt threatened."

"The room was very small, with barely any area around the bed. The bathroom was cramped, with a sink too big for it. I know it's an old building, and sometimes the architecture is weird. This hotel does not have a restaurant or bar, and expensive parking. Use the lot across the street and you'll pay about 50 bucks less. The room itself was quiet and clean, and the bed was comfy. Don’t always trust first impressions.

"When we first arrived for check-in, there was an irate customer pacing and yelling in the lobby. The manager on duty was extremely professional in getting the customer out of the lobby as to not disturb the other guests. He handled the situation with grace swiftness which made me feel better about staying there. After dealing with him they were able to check us in quickly. The room was great and the rest of our stay was fabulous and relaxing. "
