"We spent 3 days in the "cowshed" room at Le Bois Gautier. The accommodation was very spacious with a full kitchen and a large bedroom and bathroom upstairs. We received a warm welcome from the new owner Bill who had prepared a log fire for our arrival, this made the accommodation very cosy and was a great touch. "Get the river view even off season which we did. You can open your window and hear the soothing sounds. The room was well appointed, modern and clean. The on-site restaurant was pretty good too considering the front desk staff do double duty to cook as well. Service was top notch. "This is a nice family owned property. We picked it because it was a 15 minute drive away from Mont San Michele. Parking was on site, secure and easy. The rooms and common areas of this property are dated but clean and well-maintained. The bathrooms appear remodeled and while they are small, they are extremely functional.
