We visited Québec during Carnaval, and this was the perfect hotel for our stay. Met or exceeded expectations in every way, and so conveniently located adjacent to the Carnaval sites. We will definitely be back, and not just for Carnaval!

We loved how helpful the staff was here! We never felt rushed while standing at the reception desk asking questions. We needed help working the wine bar/self pour and Ibrahim was more than willing to walk over, open the machine and reset the bottle reader. They even helped us decide on dinner and booked our reservations. Rooms were clean, plenty of hot shower water, and the large Finnish Sauna was lovely. Beds were a little hard for our taste, but to each their own!

The breakfast buffet was a joke, $25.00 per person and it was poorly served, not too many options, the coffee machine was broken and they told us after being sat. There are a lot of cafes around the area with excellent options and better price. Also check the linen on the beds because they could be stained and they will put it again. I report it and still no manager took care of this issue.

Expensive for what it is…. Small room building is nice but overall needs renovation. I would never pay upwards of 200$ to stay there, way better options. Staff and property is good and parking is expensive should be included.

Disappointed and Overpriced – Avoid This Hotel I had high hopes for my stay, but unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. First, the hidden fees were frustrating. They charge $30/day for valet parking or $25/day for self-parking, yet there’s a parking lot right behind the hotel where you can park for $20/day. This lack of transparency set the tone for the rest of the stay. The room was shockingly small with no storage space for clothes, making it very inconvenient for more than a brief stay. The swimming pool was tiny, shallow, and overcrowded – not at all what we expected. The staff left a lot to be desired. The woman who greeted us was extremely unpleasant, showed no warmth, and barely acknowledged us. It was not the welcoming experience you’d expect from a hotel in this price range. To top it all off, there was an incident where someone’s dog left a mess in front of the convenience store. Despite notifying the reception multiple times and cleaning staff walking by, the mess remained there for over 30 minutes. Overall, the hotel is grossly overpriced for the value it offers. I cannot recommend this place to anyone, as it fails to deliver even basic hospitality standards.

The smell in the entire hotel was amazing ! People at reception desk very helpful and welcoming! I rated 4 stars instead of 5 because of parking fee $25 per day (canadian) In hotels in Europe and USA I visited was no fee for parking spot in hotel you stay.

The hotel is in an excellent location. We were able to walk to the old town in just 15 minutes. Moreover, a number of the New Year's Eve festivities were just across the street, which made the neighborhood lively, albeit quite (surprisingly) orderly, and noise miraculously was not an issue inside the hotel. The service at reception and in the partner restaurant (St. Hubert) was excellent. Everyone we interacted with was very kind and patient with our lack of French. The one issue that we encountered was the timing of our room service. Due to the size of the hotel and its popularity at year-end, it appeared that the cleaning service just couldn't quite get to everyone in time. At one point they came by at 5:30PM and asked if they could clean, which didn't quite work for us then, so we had to forego one day of room service. The reception area also appeared understaffed, which created very long lines for check-in. I suspect it had to do with peak tourist season, but would have thought they would be able to accommodate accordingly with seasonal labor. Despite the staffing challenges, we had a very pleasant experience overall and would definitely stay again.

The hotel is close to the Plaines D’Abraham and is a few minutes walk to Old town Quebec. The staff was very nice and the facilities were clean and well taken care of.
