"For business, the hotel was fine. There was nothing exceptional about it. The rooms were relatively spartan. I had two twin beds, although I requested just one. I had also requested a nice view, but was given a view of the parking lot. One thing that bothered me quite a bit was the fact that many services typically rendered by hotels were missing - for example, I asked for an ironing board and iron and was told that there was a laundry service, but I could not iron my clothes myself. "On arrival, reception said they had a maintenance issue so had upgraded us to the sister Hotel Union next door. Therefore my review is really for that hotel, but the two hotels share some facilities e.g. swimming pool and will have some shared standards and staffing. Service was excellent throughout, especially when they found my husband's lost property. Breakfast very good, with great quality and selection of food. Location is brilliant, walking distance from sights, shops, restaurants and station. We really enjoyed our stay."
