"Had a lovely stay at the Robinson Club Resort - especially the location and the excellent local staff. As an adult, non-German solo traveller, I was a bit disappointed that activities (yoga / outdoor workouts) were facilitated mainly in German, and that there were a lot of noisy children everywhere - especially at the evening entertainment that I had expected to be for adults. Otherwise it’s a nice hotel with great facilities and amazing staff."

"We had an acceptable pool villa with beach access for which we had paid handsomely however I’d have been horrified to be in the huge block rooms. The resort is jaded and unloved. The dining room is scruffy and a total covid hazard. Tabl s have dirty mats and uneven surfaces. This is the first hotel where I saw guests actually bringing in their own breakfast ( as opposed to taking fruit etc out) it c a n only be described as basic and pedestrian with poor choice and little attention to top up...

"Nice size hotel but on a very narrow plot. The beds on the beach were about six rows deep and the ones around the pool were four deep. The sun beds were good but the umbrellas were too small to supply enough shade and you couldn’t move them. Breakfast was good although coffee from the machines was average. "Sentido is a good property,a bit bigger for our preference but there are not too many good and small hotels available in the area.We spent one week during mid february 2025 and it would be more pleasant if it hadn't been for our fellow guests that behaved without caring others.Most of them come from Northern Europe at a point that there are some "starndkorbs" (a kind of sunbed used in the Baltic sea) exhibited,and some information brochures at the room are only in German,may be to let them fell...

"The people who work at these facilities are never to blame, they work with what they are given. The hotel manager was an angel, his staff exceptional but the hotel is in great need of renovations or general maintenance. Investment is needed to bring it at its grandeur. "

"We had a nice stay. Unfortunately, the hotel did not quite live up to our expectations. the outside area needs a loving hand. it is not stroller friendly. several times we had to call the reception because the cleaning service had not provided new towels"

"This resort is the older style bungalow type. Yes, it’s a little dated, but is well kept and exactly what I wanted. Traditional Thai beach bungalows at a good price. Sheets were great, pool and grounds well kept by lots of staff. A great breakfast and lovely beach."

"Beachfront location. About a 10min walk to the shopping area but hotel provides frew buggy transport. Bit expensive to eat and drink in the hotel compared to local restaurants/bars. Hotel room well stocked with toiletries, hairdryer, coffee machine etc and minibar (but only the water free). Staff are fantastic especially Wallie and Tea. Quieter area of Khao Lak compared to the Bang Niang area but only a short taxi/tuk tuk ride away. "

"Stayed only 2 nights but wish it had been longer. 2 adults and 2 kids, had a family suite, very nice and spacious room, felt luxurious. Room was very close to the pool so for us we were actually clad not spending extra on a pool access room. All staff very friendly and service minded. Hotel was not fully occupied so was possible to find sun beds even after 7.30am. Though many reserve sun beds hours before they use them (which is super annoying!!), but some pool staff actually removed towels off some beds. Very kids friendly. Amazing playroom and nice kids pool with water slide. Kids loved it. Nice and clean beach! (Visited a beach just south of this one and was much more rocks there, here only nice sand). Great breakfast (but busy). Had dinner only one evening at the beach bar, not that impressed as it was quite expensive. Limited restaurants and stores around the hotel area so not much other options, but good quality still (and much cheaper than the hotel itself). All in all a great stay and would come back again!"
