Traveling solo, this hotel felt safe and secure. The room lobby and room were clean and updated. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was a nice addition. The hotel is very convenien to I-40, shopping and dining. The area is car dependent but you could walk to several fast food restaurants and a convenience store is a block away.

I’m a platinum member with Choice Hotels. I was woke up at 2:45 am by someone opening my door, yelling something and closing it. I thought I was dreaming. My worst fear of staying in a hotel. I go double lock and lay back down. Next thing I know someone opens again and the slide lock stop them from opening the door. They yell through the crack that I haven’t paid ( this at 3:30 AM. I slam the door and call the front desk and am told my payment hasn’t went through. After I tell the night staff that I will speak to front desk in the morning. She stated “that it was messing up her audit” I hung up. Spoke to staff and received apology. Payment was processed. No compensation was made for my inconvenience.

I came to the Hotel for business and dinner meeting. Was informed the day I had my meeting ( with a note under the door) that water was off for 4 hours. My Video meeting was at 4pm and dinner at 7. I did not have hot water until 8:22 pm. I requested compensation for lack of use. Now mind you I’m a platinum member. The front desk went to property management and he was unconcerned and stated no discount would be provided. This is unacceptable to not provide compensation for your lack of service.

It’s an older property and the nightly rate is very competitive. Room interiors were refreshed in the last several years. The bed linens were clean but there was a dried booger stuck to my comforter with hair attached to it. I think it was an oversight by the housekeeper. Other than that it was fine.

Carpet stained .walls dirty,unfinished. we were not able to enter our room. The key was not working all the time we were there and no one was able to correct it and I cannot reach the property. I can’t get a number online. We requested a refund and they agreed so perhaps you can help me with this Expedia since I booked it through you. We stayed here after a VOLS football game. We typically stay outside of Knoxville bc properties are full and very expensive on game weekends. Every other property we’ve stayed at in these surrounding areas has at least been updated and this property has not. It’s very outdated comsmetically, TVs are old and had static, furniture, lamp shades, etc had scuffs and holes. It was however very clean (especially bathroom), bed was comfy and staff were nice and helpful. Also easy to get in/out of. Breakfast was included but just ok.
