"Wonderful place, with 2 less than perfect things. First and most importantly, the swimming pool had no steps so my mother, who loves spending time in the pool, was unable to enjoy it. The availability of a pool was one reason I selected Melina, so this was a huge disappointment. Second, the beds were very hard. The food was delicious - we are vegetarians and the cook did an outstanding job."

"A nice and quiet area if that is what you are looking for. Walls might be a little thin in respect to neighbor noise. Go to Secret Beach for hiking and seclusion. Kayaking in the bay is close by. Keep in mind that they close the entrance gate at 9pm. "

"Sea view room is abt 20m away from main road, noisy(24hrs). lots of ants, lizard, Mosquitoes in the room. Poor ventilation in bath room. 1st impression upon check-in is very bad, don't feel like we're welcome here by the staff."

"The property is truly amazing and the staff were amazingly helpful, warm and welcoming, and lovely. When our group pulled in to the property we were quickly greeted by staff and blown away by the views. As each member of our party toured the rooms and property, everyone was so happy and faces increased smiles and joy. "Great view! Room was clean. Staff were incredibly nice. Only issue we had was this hotel is not walkable to anything. The hotel does offer a free shuttle to the “big fish” statue by the beach at the top of most hours but if you need a shuttle not at the top of the hour its 50 baht/person. They will also pick you up from here. The hill to get to the hotel is difficult for most grab drivers and excursion drivers so we had to take the shuttle to the bottom of the hill and meet our ride there. Not...
