"**Second Time’s the Charm at The Yama Hotel!** As a single dad traveling with my two young teen sons, finding a comfortable and family-friendly hotel is always a priority, and The Yama Hotel has delivered on both our visits! From the warm welcome at check-in to the excellent service at the restaurant and pool bar, every aspect of our stay was a pleasure. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, featuring a cozy bathtub and a large rain shower in the bathroom. It came with all the standard amenities, like coffee and tea, two complimentary water bottles daily, and quality toiletries. While the hotel isn’t directly on the beach, the views more than made up for it—we had a stunning combination of ocean and jungle scenery. The AC kept us cool, the Wi-Fi worked flawlessly, and though we didn’t watch much TV, the cable channels were a nice touch. The included breakfast buffet was perfect for us. My sons and I aren’t picky eaters, and we loved the variety, from classic breakfast staples to local dishes, fresh fruits, a salad bar, refreshing juices, and a variety of coffee drinks to start the day right. The friendly and attentive restaurant staff made every meal even more enjoyable. Additionally, the hotel provided a shuttle bus to Kata Beach, which was incredibly convenient and made it easy for us to enjoy the sand and sea. I would recommend The Yama Hotel to anyone, whether traveling with kids, as a couple, or even solo. We’re already looking forward to our next stay"

"Good breakfast spread, enjoyed stay with kids, one point to note, although it’s close to shops and restaurants, it’s on a hill and quite a steep one, so take note. Situated between both kata beach, 5-10 walk from hotel and Karon beach which is slightly further and probably best get a shuttle from hotel"

"We absolutely loved our stay at The Shore at Katathani and would recommend to anyone visiting Phuket. My wife and I went for our 10 year anniversary and it was the best decision we could have made. The entire property is beautiful and we stayed in one of the Romance villas and it was immaculate, and we loved having our private pool with picturesque sunset views overlooking the ocean with the beautiful mountain backdrop. If youre celebrating a milestone or event like we were its totally worth the cost. The service we received was top notch especially from our driver/room attendant Ricky and the check in hostess Jessie who made check in and our entire stay smooth and seamless. 5 star experience for an incredible property and unmatched service"

"Really nice hotel in the middle of Kata. Easy to get around, 5 minute walk to the beach, lots of restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again. Very kind and friendly employees. "

"We really Liked the room. Very large with great balcony. comfortable bed. AC worked very well. The dining area for breakfast was lovely and the food served was prepared well with lots of variety. Coffee machines were great with options for cappuccino. The hotel lobby staff were friendly and helpful. The tour guide desk by front door provided lots of help with ideas and suggestions for tours. The shower didn’t work well. One shower head was broken. One was partially plugged. However reported it and they came right away to fix it. Unfortunately it still wasn’t working properly afterwards. Overall it’s a great hotel and would definitely stay again. "
