"Huge hotel, Separated to two different areas with own receptions. Spa side looked nicer. We were on the other side. Lots of people. Rooms outdated. We had to change the first room which had very strong smell of detergent or something else. Room changing was smooth"

The Thai restaurant was above and beyond. Unparalleled in terms of cuisine, presentation and service. Overall the staff was very helpful, facilities clean and a highly desirable resort to spend time in."

"Good breakfast spread, enjoyed stay with kids, one point to note, although it’s close to shops and restaurants, it’s on a hill and quite a steep one, so take note. Situated between both kata beach, 5-10 walk from hotel and Karon beach which is slightly further and probably best get a shuttle from hotel"

"This is the second time staying at the Boathouse. It’s an excellent hotel with amazing staff who remember you and the room number you are staying in. It only has 39 rooms so it has a unique boutique feel to it. The rooms are very comfortable, although parts of the bathroom were starting to look a little tired, but this didn’t affect the overall quality.
