"I stayed at this hotel for one night and wow, what a great experience! The stay was super comfortable, and the staff were so cheerful and helpful, it felt like they genuinely cared. The room was spacious and spotless, which was a big plus for me, and the breakfast is delicious! I don't want to forget the beautiful beach nearby and the seaview from my room. "The reception was a huge problem. They didn’t have my reservation anywhere. I had to wait for over an hour and call Expedia support to get my room. The room was clean and it had a wonderful view. The place was extremely overcrowded. The pool water was filthy. The pool bathrooms were filthy and the beach was absolutely disgusting, totally filled with trash. "

"Stayed in an economy single. Not much space, dated, but sufficiently clean, bed was comfortable, hot water worked well. I would put it on par with a private room at a hostel. Not much in the immediate area, but also not that far from a lot of stuff. There’s a little shop almost directly across the street for snacks and water, guy was fair, not trying to scam you (about 10 EGP for a 1.5L water). I walked from the train station, and then to all the major tourist sites. "

"Excellent location to stay in Alexandria. Close to everything. Walked to both the Fish Market and the Alexandria Library. Breakfasts were great each morning and the staff was very attentive. Manager and staff all very nice. Enjoyed Montys Bar with entertainment on the first floor. Two women at Concierge were very helpful Nagham and Nesma. It was great also to have the car transport service available at the Cecil Hotel. Rania from the car transport was very helpful in arranging our 3-hour car...

"A very nice hotel on Mediterranean and excellent and very convenient location. Beautiful setting with private beach and heated pool. Excellent breakfast. But the best part was very polite and helpful staff. Mr Mahdi on reception was especially very helpful. Thankyou Mehdi. Will certainly chose this hotel again "

"A nice hotel in a great location near restaurants, cafes, and across from the sea. The hotel is packed with Egyptians on vacation which is a good sign. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Hotel is large with multiple restaurants, we tried the Lebanese and it was good. Our room was average eventhough we paid for Deluxe. We had great room cleaning crew, Muemin and Khamees. They were polite and efficient and also took care of us and checked in to make sure our room was in condition we wanted. We really appreciated them."

"Firstly, I want to thank, Nafine, Mr. Mohammed.. Thank you for the quick check-in. I am very impressed with this hotel, that's the reason I keep coming back! I would highly recommend this hotel for first and foremost safety and the dining especially the lounge on the first floor that lounge is better than VIP lounges I've come across, a nice quiet getaway.. The staff are absolutely great, the food is brilliant excellent location. And a beautiful Mosque beside the hotel, it's fascinating to see the work of this mosque, really impressive! The Gym is another bonus. Hygiene is up to date..! Great environment especially for business trips and families! I would definitely come back.. Without doubt. Thank you staff for making my trip more awesome. I would give this hotel a 5 star "
